Ireland

Last week I was on holiday. šŸ˜ I enjoyed being offline for quite a while and not reading anything tech related. With some friends we did a road trip across Ireland and I had an amazing time. You can find some photos at the end of this post.

Nevertheless I read a few good things on Monday, that I want to share with you.

#How important is correctness?

This short post points out that from a correctness perspective, there are two kinds of problems in software engineering: expanding and contracting. Each one should be treated differently.

#WebAssembly MVP is complete

I cannot wait for this technology to mature, since it will allow running other languages than JavaScript in the browser with a much better performance.

On February 28, the four major browsers announced their consensus that the MVP of WebAssembly is complete. This provides a stable initial version that browsers can start shipping.

Thatā€™s it for this week. I have some more links on Instapaper, which I havenā€™t read yet. Maybe some of them will end up in the next post.

For now, you can get an impression of Irelandā€™s beautiful castles and nature from the photos I took:
